To renew you Medical License and to become a desired employee in the GCC Countries you need to have completed 50 CME hours

To renew you Medical License and to become a desired employee in European countries you need 90 CME hours .

The courses will take place four times a year; you will watch a DVD about the topic and have a lecture about the topic, time to ask questions about the material, and then you will take the exam.

The test will take place four times a year; the test will be taken on the computer. The test will feature a number of questions and a 70% pass mark is required for your certification. Upon passing the test you will be credited with the number of hours that the course is worth. The DVDs are accredited by the American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME), and it decides on the amount of credit hours are placed on each lecture. When you have gained 15 hours of credits you can request your certificate, which will be send to you. If you want to buy more hours of accreditation, you can do so in blocks of 5 hours, 10 hours and 15 hours extra. There is no limit to the amount of hours you buy.
