In this program, you will learn to design, create, document and implement computer programs in three languages. The Diploma in E-Commerce offers a broad range of skills in web design, and web database programming to provide strong opportunities in a web-based career. This program offers a wide career path that could lead into a multitude of areas including E-Commerce or web development, design and implementation. Students who focus in web application development will learn skills such as: Java, Visual Basic and C++ programming languages, SQL programming, database management, web graphic design, Flash and Dream weaver.

Entry Requirements

•  A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or

•  Equivalent Education but with relevant work experience in an IT environment. And it is advantageous if the student has training in networking and A+.

•  Reasonable command of spoken and written English

The course develops:

  • An understanding of computer forensics tools, investigation and analysis
  • A working knowledge of hardware and operating systems to maximise success on projects and the necessary skills to develop a security program that will protect data and react to threats posed by Internet users etc.

Programme Structure

The programme is taught over one academic year consisting of two twelve week teaching semesters each consist of two courses including lectures and tutorials. Each module is 3 months, blend of lecture, practical and project work.
