Professional Advanced Diploma in Business

 

The Professional Advanced Diploma in Business is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to effectively progress their career within the business world and covers the scope of international business thus providing successful graduates with the knowledge and understanding required at various levels in an international business working environment.

Entry Requirements

•  Completed Bachelor Degree (BCS) in Business or equivalent education

or

•  Relevant work experience

•  Reasonable command of spoken and written English

Programme Structure

  • The programme is taught over one academic year consisting of two twelve week teaching semesters including lectures and tutorials.

Programme Content

The programme consists of seven core modules and a choice from one of the two optional modules;

DBA 01 Financial Accounting

Chapter 1

Identify the circumstances under which a business combination must be treated as a merger

Prepare consolidations requiring the equity accounting treatment of associates and the gross equity accounting treatment of joint ventures
